The model tonight was Inky and I always love drawing her, especially on her short poses which tend to be more dynamic.

Attended Figure Drawing Session

It's been a few months since I've attended the SFAI free drawing group. Tonight the model was Janet who I always love to draw.

Figure Drawing Night

It was exciting to get back into the studio and draw. Although the session left me exhausted, I am pleased with a couple of the drawings. The model was Karen again.

Birthday Card Made

I made a card for my Aunt Bonnie. This shows the progression, but I may have overdone the green shadowing. I also enclosed a small mixed media piece made from hand painted wallpaper that has been buried and retrieved.

Hand Drawing

Last night I started a hand drawing with the model Inky, but didn't get very far. Today, I used my own hand to work on the drawing further. I don't care for the results, but it was an interesting challenge.
